Our MISSION
We’re here to champion Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust in delivering outstanding, compassionate care for our patients and families.
By funding innovative projects and bringing bright ideas to life, we enhance patient experiences, support the health and care of our communities and empower NHS colleagues to go above and beyond every day.

Funding can help with enhancing comfort, improving wellbeing and patient experience through creating welcoming, therapeutic and supportive spaces. This might include:

Funding can help our work with other organisations and communities to address health and wellbeing needs and support healthier futures. This might include:

Funding can support improvements in care by investing in innovative and specialist medical equipment and resources. This might include:

Funding can be used to invest in the wellbeing and development of our colleagues, in line with our One Culture of Care. This might include:

Funding can help support innovation and improvement ideas which are aimed at improving experiences and outcomes for patients, families and colleagues. This might include:

Our new two-year strategy is an exciting step forward for CHFT Charity, reflecting our ambition to make an even bigger difference for patients, staff and communities across Calderdale and Huddersfield.
We work closely with our colleagues across CHFT to make sure our support enhances the care and experiences the Trust provides every day. By working together, we can achieve more and help bring the Trust’s ambitions to life.

OUR TEAM
Our Charity and Volunteer Services Team are here to bring a ray of sunshine to everyday at CHFT, we do this by working with Trust colleagues, patients, visitors and our communities.
Working alongside the team, our amazing volunteers improve the quality of services and enhance patient experience within our two hospitals, making a difference over and above the core responsibilities of NHS staff.
