Charity Champions help to raise awareness of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Charity so together we can continue to make a positive difference to our patients' care and experience.
The role of a Charity Champion is simple, it's not designed to be time consuming or demanding alongside your everyday job. It's just a collection of small tasks that can help with the promotion of the charity - that will make an amazing difference.
Your roles and responsibilities
We have responsibilies that can easily fit around your routine:
- Help with promotion of the charity in your work area e.g. putting up posters.
- Encourage team members to get involved with charity events and activities.
- Host your own fundraising events e.g. NHS Big Tea.
- Put forward requests for new projects to your fund advisor that we might be able to fund.
- Be the point of contact for patients wanting to give back to your area.
- Interact with the charity on social media.
