Our MISSION
Our mission is to help Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust to deliver outstanding compassionate care, by funding projects that enhance patient care and experience, by working in partnership to tackle heath inequalities and by supporting projects that address the unique needs of our diverse communities.
This is achieved through the generosity of the public and by fundraising activities, events and appeals.
IMPROVE HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE
Creating spaces that heal - we provide engagement activities and enhance hospital spaces to create welcoming, healing environments. Making sure every visit or hosital stay is more positive and welcoming.
PROGRESS HEALTH SERVICES
No idea is too big or small - we work with staff to fund the most impactful projects, equipment and emerging technologies that can improve, change — or even save — lives. Bringing the best care to our patients and their families.
SUPPORT TRUST COLLEAGUES
Caring for those who care - we invest in wellbeing, rest areas, and training so colleagues feel valued and supported — leading to better care for patients.
WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP
To support the diverse needs of our communities and build healthier communities, together - we partner with local organisations to tackle health inequalities and build stronger, healthier communities across Calderdale and Huddersfield.
OUR TEAM
Our Charity and Volunteer Services Team are here to bring a ray of sunshine to everyday at CHFT, we do this by working with Trust colleagues, patients, visitors and our communities.
Working alongside the team, our amazing volunteers improve the quality of services and enhance patient experience within our two hospitals, making a difference over and above the core responsibilities of NHS staff.
