Receiving donations

Many patients and their families want to say thank you for the care, kindness and support they have received.

Making a donation is often a meaningful way for them to show their appreciation and help improve services for future patients.

If a patient, family member or friend expresses an interest in giving back, please direct them to the CHFT Charity team.

Our guide to receiving donations

If a donation is offered directly to you

While we encourage patients and families to donate through the charity team wherever possible, we recognise that donations may sometimes be offered directly to staff members. If this happens, please follow the charity's donation guidance and complete the Donation and Gift in Kind Form. This ensures we can record the donor's details, thank them appropriately and process their gift in line with charity and Trust requirements.

Please ensure that you follow the Trust's Conflict of Interest and Standards of Business Conduct policy when accepting donations and gifts in kind.
