Lantern Trail
Join CHFT Charity for our Lantern Trail this October, marking the beginning of Baby Loss Awareness Week.
Together, we'll walk from Huddersfield Royal Infirmary to Calderdale Royal Hospital, carrying lanterns along a dedicated 10km route. As dusk falls, the trail of lanterns will create a moving tribute to babies gone too soon, while shining a light on the impact of pregnancy and baby loss.
Open to families, friends, NHS staff and the wider community, the Lantern Trail is a chance to come together in remembrance, raise awareness, and show support for those touched by loss.
By taking part, you'll also be supporting Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Charity's Maternity Bereavement Appeal, which aims to raise £300,000 in Stage 1 of the appeal to create a dedicated Maternity Bereavement Suite at Calderdale Royal Hospital - providing families with a private, compassionate environment and the specialist support they need during a time of unimaginable loss.
